More History For LeBron James

LeBron James has become the youngest player in NBA history to score 20,000 point and join the exclusive ’20k Club’.

James surpassed this milestone yesterday night against the Golden State Warriors when he made an off balance pull-up jump shot with 2:45 left in the second quarter to give him 20,001 career points. Before the game he only needed 18 points to reach the mark of becoming the 38th NBA player in the 20k Club.

The previous youngest to score 20,000 points was Lakers star Kobe Bryant, who got there when he was 29 years, 122 days old. Both players entered the NBA straight out of high school, yet on the day James reached this mark he was just 28 years, 17 days old.

In the first quarter, the three-time NBA MVP also found Dwyane Wade cutting through the defence for his 5,000th career assist as he lead the Miami Heat to a 92-75 victory against the Warriors. He is the 13th player with 20,000 points and 5,000 assists. LeBron is also the youngest amass over 5,000 rebounds.
